Enterprise Europe Network celebrates 15 years

On the occasion of the 15th anniversary of the launch of the largest international business support network Enterprise Europe Network (EEN) and the 30th anniversary of the single European market, the Prague Technology Centre together with its partners organised a conference on 27 November at the Clarion Hotel. The conference was conceived as a thank you to key partners whose long-term support and cooperation allows to achieve significant positive results for client companies. The conference was also an opportunity to meet and exchange experiences on the topic of business support and competitiveness in the Czech Republic among experts from companies, state institutions and business development organizations. 

In 7 blocks, individual representatives of the Czech EEN consortium presented the core services of the network. A great emphasis was placed on trends in modern business, namely in the areas of digitalization, sustainability and resilience.

The individual blocks also included companies sharing their success stories. One of them was Stabilplastik, which manufactures shipping pallets exclusively from 100% recycled plastic waste. Thanks to the EEN network, it has managed to find partners in Denmark and subsequently in Sweden. The company is a perfect example of circular entrepreneurship and this year the company managed to win the prestigious Enterprise Europe Network Award 2023 in the category "Inspiring Client Journey", which it received at the EEN annual conference in Bilbao.

At the end of the event it was also mentioned how to create interesting synergies with other networks. Jiří Janošec from the Prague Technology Centre presented the ADMA TranS4MErs network, which aims to support the transformation of small and medium-sized manufacturing companies into modern enterprises capable of addressing environmental, digital and social challenges.
