Brokerage and networking event on innovative technologies and materials for energy storage and conversion

On 23 October 2019 the Czech Liaison Office for Research, Development and Innovation (CZELO), the Slovak Liaison Office for Research and Development (SLORD), and Lithuanian RDI Liaison Office (LINO), in cooperation with the Pavol Jozef Šafárik University in Košice organized a brokerage event on Innovative technologies and materials for energy storage and conversion. The aim was to present selected calls for proposals related to relevant topics of renewable energy storage and conversion and the development of advanced battery types. The event created a unique space for an exchange information and project ideas to create partnerships between the represented institutions. The event was attended by approximately 55 participants from different EU countries and associated countries.
The selected topics of H2020 were presented by Representatives of the European Commission, working in the Directorates-General for Research and Innovation (DG RTD) and for Communications Networks, Content and Technology (DG CNECT). Participants presented their institutions and project proposals in the pitch presentations and were given opportunity to discuss their project ideas further and form the first project consortia and participants had a unique opportunity to network, establish new contacts and promising partnerships for future cooperation within collaborative calls.
