Brexit Factsheet update

The UK Research Office (UKRO) released the factsheet to provide the latest information on the current UK situation in relation to Horizon 2020 and other EU funding schemes. It states that following withdrawal from the European Union, the UK will continue to participate in the Union programmes financed by the MFF 2014-2020 until their closure. In a no deal scenario, the UK Government has committed to underwrite competitive EU funding for all successful UK bids submitted before exit.
The UK Government also announced a Post EU Exit Guarantee Extension to cover UK participants’ funding in all Horizon 2020 calls open to third country until the end of 2020.
