Presentations from the on-line National Information Day about the ERC grants

The Technology Centre of the Czech Academy of Sciences together with Charles University and the European Research Council organised the on-line National Information Day about the ERC grants on 23 September 2020. The event was intended for potential ERC applicants as well as for representatives of the management of research institutions and project managers.

This year´s on-line National Information Day about the ERC was already focused on the calls 2021 in the new Framework Programme Horizon Europe. At the all-day event all ERC funding schemes, rules for participation, evaluation process and support provided at institutional and national level were adressed. Ms Jana Šiftová, seconded national expert in Brussels, gave her speech on participation of EU13 countries and how to attract more applicants from the Czech Republic. Six ERC and ERC CZ projects were presented in the afternoon session. The ERC Starting, Consolidator, Advanced and ERC CZ grantees shared useful tips and advice with the participants and took part in the panel discussion. The event was being watched by a maximum of 140 people at one time.
