EUSPA Industry Days 2026 is a two-day hybrid industry engagement event organised by the European Union Agency for the Space Programme (EUSPA), providing European companies, research organisations, and innovation stakeholders with detailed insights into upcoming EU Space Programme priorities, procurement plans, and collaboration opportunities across the European space ecosystem.
EUSPA Industry Days 2026 took place on 17–18 March 2026 in Prague, Czechia, and was organised as a hybrid event, allowing both in-person and online participation. All presentations are availalbe here.
The event serves as a key interface between EUSPA and European industry, offering structured visibility into the evolution of flagship EU space components, including Galileo, EGNOS, Copernicus, GOVSATCOM, and the emerging IRIS² programme, alongside practical guidance on participation in upcoming tenders and framework contracts. Through a combination of strategic briefings, technical sessions, and targeted networking, participants gain actionable intelligence on how to position themselves within future EU-funded activities.
ESA Technology Broker Czechia (Technology Centre Prague) was invited by EUSPA to participate as an expert organisation, reflecting its recognised role in supporting technology transfer and downstream commercialisation across the European space ecosystem. This engagement provided a valuable opportunity to contribute to stakeholder discussions and to further strengthen connections between ESA and EU innovation frameworks.
From an ESA Commercialisation perspective, the event delivered several important outcomes:
- Identification of high-potential SMEs and technology providers working with GNSS and Earth Observation data, representing strong candidates for ESA Technology Transfer and Business Applications activities
- Enhanced visibility of ESA Technology Broker Czechia within the EU institutional landscape, reinforcing its positioning as a bridge between ESA programmes and EU downstream markets
- Strengthened relationships with key stakeholders, including:
- EUSPA programme and procurement teams
- Czech and broader European space SMEs
- innovation intermediaries, clusters, and ecosystem actors
- Strategic insights into upcoming EU procurement priorities, enabling improved alignment of ESA Technology Broker activities with:
- emerging downstream market demand
- dual-use and cross-sector applications of space technologies
- innovation trends in sectors such as energy, mobility, infrastructure, and digital services
Overall, EUSPA Industry Days represents a highly relevant platform for ESA Commercialisation Network partners, supporting early awareness of EU funding pipelines, ecosystem engagement, and identification of collaboration opportunities across the European space sector.
