The Prague.bio cluster was founded in 2023. Its mission is to connect research and development activities in the field of biotechnology with the business and industrial spheres. 

The founding members are the Institute of Organic Chemistry and Biochemistry of the Czech Academy of Sciences, i&i Prague and other institutes of the Czech Academy of Sciences – the Institute of Molecular Genetics, the Institute of Biotechnology, the Institute of Microbiology, the University of Chemistry and Technology in Prague, and Zentiva, a.s.
