Helena Dvorakova graduated from the Faculty of Mathematics and Physics of the Charles University in Prague. She received her scientific education in technical cybernetics from the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering of the Czech Technical University (1987). She worked as a researcher and analyst in simulation and control of machine works systems. She started working in ICT as the field was on the rise, first as a programmer-analyst and lecturer of database systems and CAD applications, then as a project and business manager in several prestigious Czech IT companies. There, she cooperated with the world leading suppliers of information technologies. She also worked as a consultant of Phare ICT projects for the public administration and healthcare.
Helena Dvořáková has been working in the Technology Centre since 2003. She is a member of the Strategic Studies Group, where she is responsible for ITC.
