TC acquired the status of a BIC (Business and Innovation Centre) and was included in the European BIC Network (EBN)
1997—1998
TC became a member of the European technology transfer network called IRC (Innovation Relay Centres) and OPET (Organizations for the Promotion of Energy Technologies)
2000
TC becomes the National Information Centre for the 5th EU Framework Programme for RTD
2001
Extension of TC activities to conducting national and regional strategic studies (foresight and innovation strategies)
2003
TC becomes the National Information Centre for European Research
2004
TC extends its activities to studies in the field of research and innovation policies and strategies
