Technology Transfer

Technology transfer is an important activity of Technology Centre. It contributes to commercial exploitation of research results and to implementation of innovation in practice with the aim to increase competitiveness of the industry while observing the principles of sustainable development. Technology Centre focuses on cooperation with research institutes and industrial enterprises, especially the small and medium innovative ones.

access to international databases of new technologies offered for commercial exploitation

consultation on protecting intellectual property
marketing studies
technology consultation in cooperation with external experts
search for partners for cooperation in production
information on EU programmes supporting targeted RTD and assistance in preparing projects for such programmes

BISONet

Technology Centre coordinates BISONet project (BusInesS and InnOvation Support Network) that provides services of the Enterprise Europe Network in the Czech Republic. The Enterprise Europe Network is the largest network of contact points providing information and advice to EU companies on EU matters, in particular small and medium enterprises (SMEs). The network offers concrete and effective solutions to entrepreneurs and companies in more than 40 countries. The network combines and builds on the former Innovation Relay Centres and Euro Info Centers and covers nearly 600 local partner organisations, employing around 4,000 experienced staff working to support competitiveness of EU businesses. Instruments of the network include business partner search within technology and business cooperation databases and fast access to information on funding opportunities, individual visits to companies to assess their needs and provide them with a broad range of promotion and information material. Representatives of the network can also help businesses understand EU law, how it applies to their business and how to make the most of the internal market and EU programmes.

CeTT

Technology Centre coordinated a project called Centre for Technology Transfer (CeTT) that established an educational system for executives, students, graduates and young researchers in the field of transfer of research and development results to industry and support of new technologies. The CeTT project was co-financed from the European Social Fund (ESF) and the state budget of the Czech Republic.
